Phil Brown's men are locked in the drop-zone and, with the classy and resurgent Gunners in front of them, their problems could grow worse as the weekend comes to a close.

The Tigers have lost their last three games, shipping eight goals in the process, five of which came in the 5-1 drubbing at Everton last Sunday, and are now one of the 188BET favourites to suffer relegation this term.

Just one win - against Manchester City - in 14 is nothing short of relegation form and, with Arsene Wenger's youthful and exuberant Arsenal side hitting the right notes of late, they could be in for a tough test.

They have grabbed four successive league wins and cantered to a 5-0 Champions League last-16 win against FC Porto on Tuesday evening to secure their passage into the quarter-finals.

Hull midfield trio Seyi Olofinjana (ankle), Geovanni (knee) and Dean Marney (calf) may make a return to action as they near full fitness.

Ian Ashbee (knee ligament) and Anthony Gardner (ankle) are still some way from a return to the side.

Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas, who sat out of the European success in midweek with a hamstring problem, could return for the game while defender William Gallas (calf) is also pushing for a recall.

Stricken Aaron Ramsey, who suffered a horrific double leg fracture in the recent win at Stoke City, is out for the foreseeable future as is Kieran Gibbs (fractured metatarsal). Robin van Persie (ankle) and Johan Djourou (knee) are also out.

Last season, it was the visitors who grabbed maximum points, but they left it late as two goals in the final eight minutes brought about their success.

Emmanuel Adebayor opened the scoring before Daniel Cousin netted a leveller midway through the second half. However, Samir Nasri and Nicklas Bendtner broke Hull hearts as they fired their side to victory last January.
